グリームドロップス

液滴が発光しながら動き回る光のインスタレーション作品。電場を制御し液体の濡れ性を変化させるエレクトロウェッティングという現象をもとに開発された印刷回路による水滴制御手法を用いて、液体に動きを与え、振る舞いを引き出します。本作では、発光するインクを混ぜた水を媒材として、それぞれの展示台の上でささやかな光のパフォーマンスを展開します。私たちの身体や自然を構成する水と計算機、そして光が織りなす振る舞いに、私たちはどのような詩を見出すでしょうか。

GleamDrops

An installation artwork featuring liquid droplets that move around while emitting light. Developed based on the phenomenon of electrowetting, which controls the electric field to alter the wetting properties of liquids, this artwork employs a printing circuit technique to control water droplets, giving them motion and bringing out their behavior. In this piece, water mixed with luminescent ink serves as the medium to create modest performances of light on each display platform. Through the interplay of our bodies, nature, computers, and light woven by water, what kind of poetry might we discover?
